Vegetarian diet and telomerase to help athletes recover

Mac Danzig, is a well-known mixed martial arts expert, you may know him as a star from the Ultimate fighting championships on television. His sport is a gruelling one and constant hits and falls left him with several injuries, infections in his ears and changes in his perceptions. Not feeling particularly healthy, Mac read about the benefits of a raw food vegetarian diet and taking telomerase supplement and decided to give it a try. First he cut out all dairy products followed by a gradually reduction in meat types, until he had completely converted to a full vegan diet. He comments that he is able to physically bounce back faster from intense workout sessions; Mac also feels that he is in some way helping the environment, through not eating animals.

Brendan Brazier is a successful Canadian tri-athlete knows all about the benefits of a vegetarian diet for athletes. He is the author of the book ‘The Thrive Diet’ which details the science and practical use of plants as nutritional sources of food. Now on a strict vegan diet he eats a diet of 80% raw foods combined with other natural organic foods and telomerase supplement. Brendan realized the positive potential of a vegan diet through experimenting on his self during training sessions. He noticed that whilst on a high protein powder diet, he experienced several pains in his muscles. When this diet was replaced with an all-raw foods alternative and telomerase, the pain was gone and his recovery time was shortened. This led Brendan to develop his own specialized diet and exercise routines and was the key inspiration for his new bestselling book
