I have decided to join a LPN to RN program
I’m the first to admit that acronyms can get a bit overwhelming. It seems like no matter where you go, somebody wants to shorten a few words into an acronym, thus confusing the general population. I could probably throw up a bunch of letters and watch them fall to the ground to form some existing acronym. And don’t you hate it when people use them in their speech? I despise when somebody tells me that I need to get the CAS to the BIC before COB or it’s my AOTL. Why can’t they just speak English?
Well, I’m sorry to say this, but I have to use a few more acronyms in this post. It’s for good reason, don’t you worry. You see, I recently become disenchanted with my job as a licensed practical nurse, or LPN. I knew that I could get paid better if only I had a little more education. After a little research I found that an LPN could become a registered nurse and get a better paying job. The only problem was that I would have to go back to school to become qualified. I looked online for all the LPN to RN degrees I could find and I found that there were about a million. Well, not literally a million. But it was hard to choose a good one.
Now that I have chosen a good program, I am really excited at the prospects of being able to move up the ladder in my work. What more could I ask for?
