NSAIDs for Pinched Nerve Shoulder Pain

One of the most common prescription drugs that is recommended and used by doctors against Pinched Nerve Shoulder pains is NSAIDs (Non Anti Inflammatory Drugs). These work two ways. First, it decreases inflammation of the injured nerve and the muscles around it. Once the swelling goes down, the pain will abate as well.

However, it has been said that pharmaceutical medications do not really have long-term benefits in treating pinched or compressed nerves. The pain and numbness may wane, but experts believe that this will come back after a few days or weeks.

Nevertheless, these should only be taken if your doctor has suggested and prescribed it. self-medication is not a very safe practice.
