New Technology at Payne Chiropractic Center
Payne Chiropractic Center has been in Statesville North Carolina since 1993. Over the years technology has effected every part of our business. In the early nineties digital xray technology was not available to independent doctors offices. Even those units that were in hospitals were very slow and cumbersome. Since relocating to our new office in 2006, we have offer state of the art digital xrays to our patients. This machine works with a fraction of the radiation to the patient that the old machine delivered. Digital xrays allow us to share xrays with other providers and get second opinions much easier than in the past. digital xrays allow us to better interpret the xrays of a patient withauto accident injuriesby allowing us to manipulate the image on the screen and magnify certain areas of the image if we need to.
Another technological inovation that we have found to be very benficial to our patients is spinal decompression. With spinal decompression we can treat disc injuries that used to require surgery with non invasive therapy that has a better chance of a good outcome for the patient than surgery. At Payne Chiropractic Center we us an ATX table. This table performs “fluid” spinal decompression which means the table actually moves rather than the patient just being pulled by straps.
